Scrum and the World Crisis

    how could you put RUP graphs near to waterfall graphs in your presentation!? After all we've discussed I think you should know better than that... RUP != waterfall. RUP is iterative and incremental, and that's the big leap forward. Almost everything you said in your slides about Scrum would apply ipsis literis to RUP. Maybe I should schedule another indoctrination session, you've proved to be a very stubborn subject, I'll have to use my extremest methods on you ;-)

    we're not saying waterfall and RUP are the same thing. Never said that, never will say.

    All we're saying is: as far as we know, although RUP is iterative, the product won’t be actually usable until the transition phase. There won't be any "product" delivered to the client before the end of the project.

    Also, RUP demands a lot of documentation.
